The short version

ZapZap collects nothing. No analytics, no tracking, no account, no server of ours involved.

What ZapZap does

ZapZap displays web.whatsapp.com inside a native macOS panel. Your conversations happen directly between your Mac and WhatsApp (Meta) — exactly as they would in a browser. ZapZap never sees, stores or transmits your messages.

What stays on your Mac

• Your WhatsApp Web session (cookies/local storage), stored by macOS's WebKit in ZapZap's sandboxed container. "Sign out" in the app menu erases it.
• The unread count is read locally from the page title to show the menu-bar badge. It never leaves your Mac.
• Notifications are relayed locally to macOS's notification center.

Third parties

Your use of WhatsApp Web is governed by WhatsApp's privacy policy. ZapZap is an independent app, not affiliated with WhatsApp or Meta.
